New post coming...September 13

I'd like to apologize to all four of our faithful blog readers (maybe more, maybe less, though likely I'm close in my estimate ;)) for the lack of new posts, and for leaving you hanging on such an information- and picture-less post.

The reason? I'm furiously and anxiously preparing for my comprehensive exam (for my Ph.D program at UT), which I will take on September 12.

I promise I will post lots and lots of information- and picture-full posts, beginning on September 13. Despite our blog-silence, our lives have been very full lately: Taylor and I celebrated six years of marriage, Emilia tested out and then quickly mastered crawling, we've hosted many, many visitors, and we've taken our last summer vacation.
